The Dead-End Cycle of Dieting:
Most people who have dieted have tried many different programs with little or no success. Most diets deal with reducing calories and the use of prescription appetite suppressants. This type of diet causes the patient to lose weight but often, many times, it is muscle and water weight, not FAT. When an overweight /obese patient tries to reduce calories to lose weight, they will first burn their normal fat reserve cells. Once these are used up, the body will move on to burning the structural fat cells (both of these types of fat are necessary, and are not the kind of fat that leads to obesity). The last fat cell on the list to be utilized is the abnormal secondary fat, or the fat that causes people to be overweight. These abnormal secondary fat reserves are not normally released when an individual starts a new diet and /or begins to exercise. The body retains these secondary fat reserves as a survival mechanism. It will only access them during long periods of reduced calorie intake or starvation. The brain will send a powerful message to intervene by making the individual uncomfortable in order to EAT. This is the reason behind the headaches, irritability, weakness and hunger. The only other time these secondary fat reserves are released is during pregnancy. By the time the patient gets to this point they feel hungry, fatigued, and generally give up on the diet. This type of dieting causes patients to feel exhausted and lose fat in the wrong places such as in their face versus their belly, hips or thighs. It also depletes them of nutrients which lead to further health issues.
This is where the Bouari Program comes in and why it is set apart from other diet programs. The Program attacks the abnormal fat cells releasing or metabolizing about 2,000 calories a day. Now our patients can go on a low calorie diet without starving. Yes, the diet is very specific and health oriented, but when this is done in combination with the Bouari Products, the body is able to burn fat and use it as a nutrient.
